The U.S. Embassy Hanoi has a requirement for a responsible contractor to provide Services and Supplies for the Renovation and Expansion Construction of the Medical Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Hanoi, Vietnam. All firms that respond to the solicitation must be technically qualified and financially responsible to perform the work. At a minimum, each offeror must meet the following requirements when submitting their proposal: Be proficiency in English, particularly with respect to construction technical language; Have an established business with a permanent address and telephone listing in Vietnam; Be able to demonstrate prior construction experience with suitable references; Company with 5 years demonstrated successful experience constructing similar projects in accordance with office renovation and expansion, medical equipment supplies. Have the necessary personnel, equipment and financial resources available to perform the work; Have all licenses and permits required by local law; Meet all local insurance requirements; Have the ability to obtain or to post adequate performance security, such as bonds, irrevocable letters of credit or guarantees issued by a reputable financial institution; Have no adverse criminal record; Have no political or business affiliation which could be considered contrary to the interests of the United States, and Have proof of the System for Award Management (SAM - www.sam.gov) registration to include the SAM UEI number.
